Victoria Starks, MD

Dr. Starks is an Oculoplastic surgery specialist. She performs cosmetic, functional and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, orbit, and tear drainage system.  She also has an interest in nonsurgical facial rejuvenation. Dr. Starks graduated from Duke University with a degree in Biochemistry and went on to complete a prestigious research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. She earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and ranked first in her class. Dr. Starks completed an internship in internal medicine at Baylor University Medical Center. Her ophthalmology residency was completed at University of Texas Southwestern, where she led the resident quality improvement project.

Dr. Starks completed a two year fellowship in ophthalmic plastic surgery at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Harvard Medical School. During this time she traveled to Uganda as an MEEI Global Surgery and Health Fellow.

Dr. Starks has published numerous research studies and has lectured at ophthalmology conferences across the country. She has been a course instructor for the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has taught trainees and residents. Dr. Starks is board certified in ophthalmology and she is accredited by the renowned American Society of Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Starks enjoys the outdoors through running, hiking, skiing, and golf and also enjoys spending time with her family.
